Children's Japanese Brush Painting

The Maridon Museum welcomes back Laurie Bloomberg of Slippery Rock who learned "Sumie" painting while living in Japan. In this series of five classes students will learn how to use the ink stick and slate stone to achieve black and grey tones, and to apply proper brush strokes. Classes will be held every Friday during the month of July from 2-3 p.m.  All materials are provided. Call for reservations.
