For those who always wanted to unleash their creativity though pencil and paper, Cranberry has the right class for you.
The Associated Artists of Butler County is offering a new adults-only drawing class to residents during six weekly 2½-hour sessions starting Feb. 6 in Cranberry.
The class will emphasize ways to apply perception and the creative process together with a technical focus on the use of light, texture, color and composition while creating original images on paper.
Artist Kathy Bischak will lead the class. Enrollment will be limited to those 18 and older.
Cranberry Township's Parks and Recreation Department will begin accepting registration for the class Jan. 28. Those taking the class must provide their own sketchpads, pencils and erasers. The instructor will provide any additional material.
A program fee of $94 is due at the time of registration.
