The area is under a winter weather advisory through 1 p.m.

There could be very little rush to the Monday morning rush hour. The National Weather service in Pittsburgh has issued a winter weather advisory from 1 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday for most of Western Pennsylvania, including the Cranberry area.

A mixture of snow, sleet, and freezing rain is expected overnight into Monday morning. Because very cold ground and snow pack, roads and sidewalks are expected to be icy.

Areas of freezing rain and mixed precipitation will transition to all rain later Monday.
