Caring Team Coordinator— Highmark Caring Place, Warrendale

Primary areas of responsibility will be identifying schools with a need for peer support grief groups within their schools. Once identified, position is responsible for developing necessary structure for and implementing the groups.

Responsible for inspiring culture change within schools to support a greater degree of sensitivity toward students impacted by the death of a loved one through student-focused awareness and education activities. Responsible for raising awareness within schools about the programs and services of the Highmark Caring Place.

Minimum qualifications include master’s degree in child development, social work, counseling, psychology or related human services course work, five years experience in mental health setting, three of which focused on working with children and families, and three years experience working in a school setting with demonstrable knowledge of navigating all levels of a school system.

Group Secretary Office Automation—Internal Revenue Service, Cranberry

Receive telephone calls, give routine and non-routine information, answer questions and direct calls and visitors to appropriate person or office.

Receive and control mail and suspense items, routing them directly to the appropriate person or office for action. Prepare and type a variety of correspondence, reports, forms, requisitions, requests for personnel actions and legal documents using word processor or personal computer.

Organize and maintain files, records, manuals, handbooks, and other related materials.

Childcare Teacher—Allie Alligator Learning Center, Warrendale

Responsibilities include: implement curriculum, aide children in potty-training skills, serve lunch and snacks, assess children's developmental levels, maintain classroom appearance, communicate with parents.

Must have CPR and first aide certification. Other requirements include a bachelor's degree in early childhood, child development, special education, elementary education or related human services field.

Executive Administrative Assistant—Mine Safety Appliances, Cranberry

This position provides administrative support, primarily to the senior vice president of finance, but potentially others in the executive organization, as required. 

This position requires the utmost discretion and ability to handle sensitive and confidential company information and documents.  Duties include global communications, analysis, prioritization and executive level administrative support.  A professional demeanor and approach are critical.

Service Worker I, Part Time—Regional Learning Alliance, Cranberry

This position has the responsibility for cleaning and assisting with the maintenance throughout the Regional Learning Alliance in Cranberry with emphasis on those areas that have or will have high occupancy.

This is routine manual work primarily in the custodial care of the Regional Learning Alliance facility, but also includes other service duties. Hours are Monday-Thursday, 3 to 11 p.m., for a total of 30 hours per week and an hourly pay of $10.50.
