Video: Great Saves: Cpl. Dan Hahn, Harmony EMS Reunite at PNC Park

The injured Cranberry police officer and the emergency workers who helped save his life are honored at a Pirates game.

On Tuesday at PNC Park the Pittsburgh Pirates and West Penn Allegheny Health System honored a group of local heroes for their "Great Saves."

In February, Cpl. Dan Hahn of the Cranberry Township suffered life-threatening injuries after while pursuing a suspect after a chase.

A crew from quickly arrived at the scene, providing oxygen and starting IVs before a medical helicopter arrived to take Hahn to Allegheny General Hospital on Pittsburgh’s North Side,

At Tuesday's Pirates game, Hahn was reunited with the three paramedics and one emergency medical technician who helped save his life. The reunion was part of West Penn Allegheny Health System and the Pirates “Great Saves” program.

"I’m just excited about being part of recognizing them for saving my life," Hahn said Tuesday. "That night, I could have been a quadriplegic, a paraplegic, or worse."
