Volunteers encouraged to meet at 9 a.m. at the Sharon Shelter near Pie Traynor Field.

Pittsburgh Trails Advocacy Group will hold a trail workday Sunday in North Park, the Allegheny County Parks Department announced today.

Volunteers interested in participating should meet at 9 a.m. at the Sharon Shelter near Pie Traynor Field and bring gloves, water and appropriate shoes.

The Pittsburgh Trails Advocacy Group works to protect and encourage access to shared-use trails in Western Pennsylvania, especially single-track trails used by mountain bikers, hikers, trail runners, cross-country skiers and equestrians, according to its website.
