Slideshow: Fourth of July Fireworks at Zelienople Community Park

The Zelienople, Harmony, Lancaster, and Jackson Township Independence Day festivities were held Monday.

Toting folding chairs and blankets, hundreds of people showed up Monday for the fireworks display at Zelienople Community Park.

A joint celebration for Zelienople, Harmony, Lancaster and Jackson townships, things kicked off at 11 a.m. on July 4 with a parade through Zelienople's Main Street led by this year's Grand Marshal, Barb Kaufman.

From there it was time for games, food, and fun at the Zelienople Community Park. The Strand Theater also sponsored a performance by the North Pittsburgh Philharmonic Orchestra.
