Seneca Valley Teen Takes Miss Butler County USA Title

Kourtnie Regan lives in Seven Fields.

Seneca Valley High School has another teen queen.

Kourtnie Regan, 17, was crowned Miss Butler County USA 2013 during the pageant held earlier this week at Kean Theatre in Richland Township.

The Seven Fields resident also was named Miss Photogenic.

The Miss Butler County USA pageant is an official preliminary to the Miss Pennsylvania USA Pageant, which leads to the national televised Miss USA pageant owned by the Miss Universe organization.

As the Miss Butler County USA 2013 winner, Regan will receive automatic entry into the 2014 Miss Pennsylvania USA pageant.

An honor student, the Seneca Valley junior also was named Teen Miss Butler County in 2009 and Young Miss Butler County in 2007. She works as a hostess at Aviva Brick Oven in Warrendale.

In addition to having her entry fees paid for in the Miss Pennsylvania USA pageant, Regan received a crown from a $300 prize package from Salon Vivace in Treesdale, a $100 gift card from Macy’s and other prizes.

Contestants in the pageant were judged in evening gown and swimsuit categories as well as on one-on-one interviews with pageant judges.

Regan continues the tradition of Seneca Valley students being crowned pageant winners. Seneca Valley senior Hannah O’Donoghue was Miss Butler County 2012 and recently competed Miss Pennsylvania USA pageant. Alex Pacinda also placed in the semifinals of the 2013 Miss Pennsylvania Teen USA Pageant.
