Seneca Valley Middle Schoolers Honored by Lions Club

Madison Lopiccolo, Patrick O'Connor and Madeline Bresch were each presented with a certificate of recognition for their achievements.

On January 25, the Cranberry Township Area Lions Club held its first of two Service, Effort and Initiative nights of the year. 

These SEI ceremonies took place to honor three outstanding Seneca Valley Middle School students for their tremendous achievements, both in and out of the classroom.

King Lion Andy Newell and club secretary Tim Roscoe anchored the ceremony along with Middle School guidance counselor Robert Magerko.

The three students, Madison Lopiccolo, Patrick O’Connor and Madeline Bresch were each presented with a certificate of recognition. Each recipient also was presented with a $50 gift certificate to Barnes & Noble Bookstore.

The three students were named student of the month for October, November and December. Each student was accompanied by his or her parents, grandparents and siblings.

The club holds its next SEI night in late May, along with a local Peace Poster honors ceremony.

The Cranberry Township Area Lions Club meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, except July and August. Meetings are held at the North Park Lounge Deckhouse at 6:30 p.m.
