PennDOT Begins Crack Sealing on I-279 Parkway North

Work will take place between I-79 and the Perrysville/West View interchanges and continue through Sept. 7. Short-term lane closures will occur.

PennDOT on Wednesday began crack and joint sealing operations on Interstate 279.

The work will take place between the Interstate 79 and Perrysville/West View (Exit 7) interchanges. Short-term lane closures will occur in various locations from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday-Friday through Sept. 7.

PennDOT advises motorists to use caution, slow down, and expect changing traffic patterns when traveling through these areas.
