Patch Pets: Sweet Coco

The German Shepard and Basset Hound mix is good with children.

Sweet Coco is gentle and people-oriented. This 2-year-old German Shepherd and Basset Hound mix is fabulous with children and everyone she meets. In fact, she loves to be with people so much that she hates being left alone and would do best with a family that is home most of the time.

Coco is a nice walker and enjoys taking walks on a leash. She loves to play and run outside. She is a good listener who can be a little timid at first, but she quickly warms up and then will shower you with affection.

Coco is fully house and crate trained, and when not with her family she can suffer from separation anxiety. She prefers to be put into her crate, where she feels safe and secure anytime she's by herself.

Coco is happiest when she's included in whatever you're doing. She's the ideal companion to a family with children who enjoy having a canine playmate.

She was returned to Animal Friends because the family she was adopted by had another dog that Coco was not fond of, so Animals Friends recommends that Coco be the only dog in your home. Plus, she knows that she can provide all of the attention and love that anyone could want, not to mention a lifetime of doggy kisses.

Do you have the forever home that Coco is dreaming of? If so, she is eager to meet you and to be an important part of a loving family again! Visit her at Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, 15237 or call 412-847-7002.

The facility is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
