Patch Pets: Pongo the Bunny is Litter Trained!

The domestic rabbit was dumped in the wild.

Domestic rabbits can’t survive in the wild, and no one knows this better than poor Pongo, who was rescued after being dumped in the great outdoors. Now, this 2-year-old bunny is waiting for someone to adopt her from Animal Friends.

Pongo is a beautiful, shy but friendly smooth-coated Rex rabbit.

The person who found her tells us that Pongo liked to play with boxes and munch lettuce, and she didn’t mind the family’s gentle cats.

Here at Animal Friends, Pongo enjoys exploring and seems to get along well with the other bunnies. She’s embarrassed to talk about it, but we thought you’d like to know that Pongo is litterbox trained.

Come to one of the Animal Friends BunRuns (there's one from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday) to meet her and talk with some of the volunteers who can tell you why Pongo would be great in your home.
