Nearby: Holy Trinity Ready to Celebrate Greek Food Festival at New Home

This will be the church's largest, and longest, festival yet.

After holding its annual Greek food festival at three different locations within four years, Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church has plenty of reasons to celebrate as members settle into their new home.

The church will hold Taste of Greece, its largest Greek food festival, at its new location at Babcock Boulevard and Cumberland Road in McCandless.

Prior to that, the church was located for 80 years on Pittsburgh’s North Side. It also found a temporary home at the former Northway Elementary School in Ross before opening at its new location June 22.

Festival co-chairman Gerri Valliant told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette this would be the church’s largest, and longest, festival yet.
