Leave the Kids in Cranberry: Township Plans ‘Parents Night Out’

Cranberry’s parks and recreation department will supervise the children while you and loved one head out for date night.

Parents, mark your calendars now.

Cranberry’s parks and recreation department is hosting a “It's Kids Night In, Parents Night Out” on Friday, March 22

The three-hour event is for children ages 5 through 12, allowing their parents to go out and paint the town red.

Included is a kid-friendly movie, snacks, crafts, games in the Cranberry Municipal Center gym, and Wii—all under the watchful eye of township staff. The adult-to-child ratio will never be lower than 1:8, a statement from the township said.

Advance registration is required. In-person enrollment is available at the information desk of the parks a recreation department inside the municipal center, by phone at 724-776-4806 x1129, or online at the township's website, www.cranberrytownship.org/programs

There is a program fee of $25 for residents, $30 for non-residents, payable at the time of registration.
