Last Chance: Toast to Tourism, Prom and Mother's Day

1. Butler County Toast to Tourism

The deadline to RSVP to the Butler County Tourism and Convention Bureau's 10th annual Toast to Tourism is Monday. The event takes place at 5 p.m. May 17 at the in Cranberry. This year’s keynote speaker is Ellen Ferretti, deputy secretary for parks and forestry in the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. The cost is $25 per person or $45 per couple. 2. Meet the Butler County Commissioners

Get to know Butler County commissioners Bill McCarrier, Dale Pinkerton and Jim Eckstein in an informal question and answer session that will be held from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the The free event includes a continental breakfast. RSVPS are requested. Call the Butler County Chamber of Commerce at 724-283-2222 to reserve your space.

3. Seneca Valley Senior Prom

Make sure the batteries in your camera are charged. The Seneca Valley senior prom is Saturday. Check out the dresses in person when the traditional Grand March begins at 5 p.m. inside the From there, students will board a bus to dance the night away at The Cathedral in New Castle.

4. Mother’s Day
