There will be single lane closures in both directions.

Cranberry area motorists traveling to and from Pittsburgh will see some orange cones on their commute this week.

PennDOT crews will conduct minor deck repairs on the bridges that carry Interstate 79 over Red Mud Hollow Road and Nicholson Road in Franklin Park Wednesday and Thursday, weather permitting.

PennDOT maintenance workers will be repairing concrete on the bridges between the I-279 (Parkway North Exit 72) and Mt. Nebo Road (Exit 68) interchanges. Single lane closures will occur in both directions as needed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, a statement from PennDOT said.
