Why Go: Nearly everyone knows someone affected by breast cancer. Learn more about the disease in this traveling photo exhibit by the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition of 67 women from 67 counties in PA.  All are survivors of breast cancer. The exhibit will be on display until March 4th.

Where/When: the coffee shop on Freedom Road in Cranberry Township at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

3.  LADY GAGA CONCERT

Where/When: The Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Why Go: Put on your Poker Face and gamble for the chance to see the Fame Monster herself, Lady Gaga. Then ‘Just Dance’ your way through the rest of the night.

Pricing: Ticket prices range from $52 to $183.75

4.  SEVEN SPRINGS WINTERFEST

Where/When: Seven Springs Mountain Resort now through Sunday.

Why Go: It might be your last chance to ski before the warmer weather (fingers crossed) arrives. The annual event features snow tubing, on-snow races, silly challenges and other fun activities.

Pricing: A $10 registration fee includes a T-shirt and entry into all racing events.

5.  FACTS IN FICTION: THE CIVIL WAR ERA (UNCLE TOM'S CABIN BY HARRIET BEECHER STOWE)

Where/When: The on Rochester Road inside the municipal center from 2 to 4 p.m. on Feb. 27, March 27, April 17, and May 22.  

Why Go: To learn more about America’s history. Led by Dr. J. Craig Hammond, a professor of history at Penn State University, this discussion group will explore Civil War-era historical fiction. The group will meet at the library for four sessions and participants will receive their own copies of “Facts in Fiction: The Civil War Era.”
