Fridays are Family Fun Nights at Cranberry Gym

The township will offer indoor soccer, basketball, hula hoops and more at the municipal center.

Cranberry is offering a fun new way for the entire family to work off that excess energy.

The township will offer two hours of open gym time on two Friday evenings in March in the hopes of giving children—and their parents—an opportunity to unwind from their school and work weeks.

Children as young as 1 years old are welcome to participate in the program, which will be held inside the gym at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center.

Indoor soccer, tag, hula hoops, basketball and other various other high-energy activities will be offered during each Family Fun Night session.

Several of the gym's basketball hoops also will be lowered from their normal 10-foot height to help younger children make those shots.
