Five Things You Need to Know This Week

1. Seneca Valley School Board Meeting

What’s going on in your child’s school? Find out in person when Seneca Valley school officials meet at 8 p.m. Monday, June 10 at the Intermediate High School in Jackson Township.

2. Conversations and Coffee with Cranberry’s Manager

Want to know what’s going on in Cranberry? Meet with township manager Jerry Andree from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 13 at the Jaycee Shelter at Cranberry Community Park for coffee (and iced tea) and conversation.

3. Cranberry Concerts in the Park: "Street Level"

Street Level performs music genres including Motown, funk, classic rock, modern country and pop hits at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 13 at Cranberry Community Park. The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are asked to bring a blanket or lawn chair.

4. CPR / AED / First Aid Class

 Participants may register for one or both of this two-part class. From 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 15, instruction will take place in CPR and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator at the Cranberry Township EMS building, located at 802 Thomson Park Drive.

From noon to 4 p.m., a first aid class will take place. Cranberry EMS also offers on-site CPR and First Aid training to organizations located in the township.

The cost is $30 for the CPR / AED class and $30 for the First Aid course.
