Five Things You Need to Know This Week: Halloween Edition

Patch gives you a rundown of Halloween events around the community.

1. Spookapalooza at Cranberry

Cranberry's Parks and Recreation department will hold Spookapalooza from 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 at the Lions Shelter at Cranberry Community Park. Come dressed in costume to the event, which will feature story telling and a pumpkin hunt. The cost is $13 per person. Click here to register online.

2. Halloween Parades

The Evans City Halloween parade kicks off at 11 a.m. Saturday. Oct. 27 in the borough. Also, break out your costumes for the annual Halloween parade at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 in Zelienople.

3. Fall Festival at Dutilh United Methodist Church

The event for kids takes place from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 at Dutilh United Methodist Church in Cranberry. The festival includes a bounce house, face painting, games, a duck pond, crafts and much more.

4. St. Gregory Great Pumpkin Race 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run

St. Gregory School in Zelienople will holds its third annual Great Pumpkin Race 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run at 5 p.m. Sunday. Oct. 28 in Zelienople. Registration starts that day at 3:30 p.m. in the back parking lot of St. Gregory School.

5. Cranberry Sunrise Rotary Zombie 5K & 1 Mile Candy Corn Family Fun Run & Walk

Join your friends and neighbors in costume at 9 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 28 for the Third Annual Cranberry Sunrise Rotary Zombie 5K & 1 Mile Candy Corn Family Fun Run & Walk. The event takes place at North Boundary Park in Cranberry. The cost is $20 for either race, $25 for both races or $50 for a family of four.
