Five Things You Need to Know This Week

1. President’s Day

Seneca Valley students have no school Monday in honor of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln’s birthdays. Find out what else is opened and what’s closed on this federal, state, and county holiday by clicking here.

2. Cranberry Center for Early Education Open House

Registrations are currently being accepted for Fall 2013 in the Center for Early Education inside the Cranberry Township Municipal Center. Meet the instructors and tour the school from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18 at the facility on Rochester Road. 

3. Lenten Fish Fry

4. Seneca Valley All School Musical, Annie

You can bet your bottom dollar that this is going to be a great performance. Annie kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22 at the Seneca Valley Intermediate High School. There also are performances scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Feb. 23 and 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24. Tickets are $10 per person. For more information, click here.

5. The Green Barn Whole Animal Nutrition, LLC Grand Opening

Owners Julia Rihn and Ann Straub will celebrate the at the shop on Main Street in Zelienople.

The event will feature product sales, free pet samples and treats for people. The Green Barn specializes in organic pet food, nutritional supplements, toys and more. The business also offers self-serve dog wash stations and full grooming services using holistic products sold in the store.
