Five Things You Need to Know This Week

1. Cranberry Board of Supervisors Organizational Meeting

Cranberry’s board of supervisors will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7 inside council chambers at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center to chose the next chairman and vice-chairman of the board.

2. Cranberry Planning Advisory Commission Meeting

Get the scoop on what developments are in the works for Cranberry. The commission meets at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8 for its regular session at the Cranberry Township Municipal Building on Rochester Road.

3. Cranberry Elks Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest

Score with the Cranberry Elks! The free shooting contest takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12 inside the gym at the Cranberry Township Municipal Building. There are six age groups and categories for boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 13. No preregistration is required. For more information, click here.

4. Hip Hop for Hope!

Hip Hop For Hope is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society taking place from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13 at the Cranberry Township Municipal Building. The hip hop dance choreography is designed for all levels. Prizes and a 50/50 raffle will be offered at the end of class. Attendees are asked to make a $3 donation.

5. Tickets on Sale Now for Annie

Online tickets are now available for Seneca Valley’s upcoming musical production of Annie. Show Dates and Times are at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 22- 23 and March 1-2 and 2 p.m. Feb. 24. For more information, or to buy tickets, click here.
