If your special someone has a heart for four-legged friends, head to the from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday for a Valentine’s Day party to benefit the Butler County Humane Society. There will be live music, refreshments, animal-themed art, a silent auction and a gallery scavenger hunt. with some of the dogs and cats in need of adoption.

In lieu of admission, bring a dog or cat toys and treats to put under the tree in the gallery’s year-round vintage Christmas shop. RSVPs are requested, but not required. Call 724-452-0539 for more information.

4. Sheriff’s Office: Gun Licensing

Representatives from the Butler County Sheriff's Office will be available from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the on Rochester Road to renew/accept License to Carry applications. This is open to any Butler County resident.

The Friends of the Zelienople-Harmony Park will host at the on Mercer Street in Harmony. The event will feature music, beverages, prizes and tons of Mardi Gras food, including dirty rice with andouille sausage, Creole-fried chicken, Creole potatoes, veggie trays and a King Cake. Whoever finds the baby inside the cake wins a prize.
