1. Seneca Valley School Board Meeting

What’s going on in your child’s school? Find out in person when Seneca Valley school officials meet at 8 p.m. Monday at the Intermediate High School in Jackson Township.

2. Cranberry Planning Advisory Commission

Get the scoop on what developments are in the works for Cranberry. The commission meets at 6 p.m. tonight at the Cranberry Township Municipal Building on Rochester Road.

On the agenda are plans for a Home2 Suites by Hilton on Cranberry Woods Drive near the Westinghouse Electric Company headquarters.

3. Cranberry Board of Supervisors Meeting

Cranberry’s board of supervisors will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday inside council chambers at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center.

4. Scouting Plaza and Fishing Lake Dedication

Join the Cranberry Township Community Chest and local officials at 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 7 in Graham Park to celebrate the dedication of the park’s new Scouting Plaza and Fishing Lake.

5. Dutilh Church, Pumpkins for People

Dutilh Church in Cranberry will begin its annual Pumpkins for People event Saturday, Oct. 6. There will be more than 1,800 pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. Pumpkin sale proceeds benefit mission projects.

On Friday evenings and weekends there is a story time tent, play area and obstacle course, plus a concession stand.
