Five Things You Need to Know This Week

1. Cranberry Planning Advisory Commission

Get the scoop on what developments are in the works for Cranberry. The commission meets at 5:30 p.m. Monday, March 25 at the Cranberry Township Municipal Building on Rochester Road.

2. Online Registration Open for Seneca Valley Junior Football Association

Attention parents of little athletes! Online registration is open this week for football and cheer in the Seneca Valley Junior Football and Cheer Association. Registration ends Sunday, March 31. To register your child, visit www.svjrfootball.org and click on registration.

3. Cranberry Board of Supervisors Meeting

Find out in person what’s going on in township government. Cranberry’s board of supervisors will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 27 inside council chambers at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center.

4. Eggstravaganza at Victory Church

The annual Easter egg hunts will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, March 29 and again from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 30 at Victory Family Church on Route 19 in Cranberry.

The event features 90,000 candy-filled Easter eggs across the church’s grass fields in eight separate hunts. There also will be inflatable rides, balloon artists, a puppet show and more.

5. Jeff Campbell at The Center of Harmony

Jeff Campbell, the 2013 winner of The Guitar Center’s national singer-songwriter competition, will perform at The Center of Harmony on Mercer Street in Harmony at 7 p.m. Friday, March 29.

A San Francisco resident, Campbell released his first acoustic album, Stop and Go, in 2012. He currently is on a U.S. tour. To buy tickets to his show in Harmony, click here.
