4. Seneca Valley Annual Veteran Recognition Night

Seneca Valley will hold its annual Veteran Recognition Night during the first home football game of the school year at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 31 at NexTier Stadium on the

Veterans and active military personnel from the community are invited and will be given free tickets to the game, special seating accommodations and will be recognized on the track prior to kick-off.

5. Evans City VFW Car/Bike Cruise

The will hold at car/bike cruise from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2 at VFW Post 499 at 408 N. Washington Street in Evans City. Entertainment includes a deejay spinning oldies, refreshments and a 70/30 raffle. Proceeds benefit local veterans.
