A Day of Rejuvenation for First Responders

The Sisters of St. Joseph Spirituality Center is teaming up with public safety personnel for Caring for the Spirit, a day of prayer and reflection for first responders, September 24 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 1020 State Street, Baden.

This interfaith experience will offer encouragement and insight and serve as a day of rest and rejuvenation for those who serve as law enforcement officers, fire fighters, and emergency medical personnel.

Reflections will be shared by Sister Marguerite Kropinak, Behavior Health Response Advisory Consortium member; Trooper Keith Allen, Pennsylvania State Police; Susan Battaglia, Emergency Medical Technician and volunteer fire fighter; Corporal Govan Martin, Pennsylvania State Police Member Assistance Program and Chief Nicholas Sohyda, Mt. Lebanan Fire Department.
