Duck Dynasty Madness Hits Cranberry

Hundreds of people waited in line to meet Duck Commander star Willie Robertson.

Duck Dynasty madness descended on Cranberry Saturday as close to 1,000 people waited in line at the new Field & Stream store for the opportunity to meet Duck Commander CEO Willie Robertson.

The bearded star of the A&E reality show signed autographs for two hours Saturday.

Prior to meeting fans, he surprised a Beaver County couple getting married at the store, which held its grand opening celebration over the weekend.

A Field & Stream official said fans began camping out at 8:45 p.m. the night before Robertson’s appearance in the hopes of being the first in line to greet him Saturday.

Robertson told Patch he was excited to meet the fans.

“I’m ready to roll,” he said. “What nice day to come out and get ready for the outdoors.”
