The township does away with Nixle alerts to instead offer its own service, Cranberry Connect.

Cranberry Township has a new way to get the word out to residents about parks and recreation programs, meeting notices and more.

On Friday, Cranberry informed residents it was no longer using Nixle, the alert notification system it previously used to correspond with the community.which officials say will offer better communications to the public, replaces it.
