Cranberry’s Nick Marzock to Open for Styx, Reo Speedwagon

The singer songwriter won Bob FM's "Rock Star For A Day" contest.

Cranberry’s Nick Marzock will get a taste of the rock-and-roll lifestyle Sunday when he opens for Styx, Reo Speedwagon and Ted Nugent at First Niagra Pavilion.

The singer-songwriter was one of five artists chosen to be finalists in Bob FM’s Rock Star For A Day contest. Fans were able to listen to the finalists’ songs on the Bob website before voting for their favorite.

On Thursday, Marzock was declared the winner.

Already well-known to fans in Cranberry, the 2008 Seneca Valley graduate gained a world-wide audience last fall with a commercial airing on Nestle Drumstick’s Facebook page.

Marzock continues to perform regularly throughout the Pittsburgh area, including at upcoming shows at Jergel’s Rhythm Grill in Warrendale and Market Square.
