Cranberry Holding Free Child Seat Installation and Inspection Workshop

Certified child passenger safety technicians will check your child's car seat.

Is the child seat in your car installed properly? Is it compatible with your vehicle? Is it the right size for your child?

If not, or if there are any recalls affecting your specific seat model, it could become a safety hazard instead of a life-saving device.

Learn the right way to install your child seat or booster in your specific make of car, free of charge with a workshop sponsored by Cranberry Township Police, Cranberry Township EMS and PA TIPP.

Participants will need to call ahead to make an appointment to the workshop. The safety checks take about 30 minutes per child seat.

To schedule your inspection/installation session, call the Cranberry Police Department's reception desk at 724-776-5180, ext. 5 during normal weekday business hours.

Don’t forget to bring with you the car seat instructions, your vehicle owner's manual and your children to make sure their current car seat fits correctly to the appointment.

Expectant mothers will need only the care seat instructions and the vehicle's owner's manual.
