All (Street) Signs Point to a Unique Christmas Gift

Cranberry is once again selling older street signs to the public.

Looking for a stocking stuffer with your—or your loved one's—name on it? There’s a sign for it, and we mean that literally.

Cranberry’s public works department is once again selling retired street signs to the public. More than 200 signs are available, including Old Freedom Road, Powell Road, Peters Road and many more.

As for monikers, signs for Anna Marie, Norman, Sarah, Stacy, Jaclyn, Katherine, Daisy and others all are in the inventory.

The markers became available when Cranberry’s public works department began to replace its older street signs, including signs that were damaged, defaced or replaced following roadwork, according to the township.

In the past, the signs were scrapped or stored away to reuse their metal. They now are sold directly to individual buyers. For a list of the available signs, click here.

To purchase a sign, buyers may go to the customer service desk inside the Cranberry Township Municipal Center during regular business hours with the names of the signs they want to buy.

All signs are priced at $25 each, plus state sales tax, for a total of $26.50. Cash, checks, Visa and MasterCard are accepted.
