Little Miss Muffet Sat On Her Tuffet

Recently, I ventured down to a boutique store in search of décor for my apartment. 

Upon walking into the shop, I discovered a large round “puffet”. I’m really not sure what you would call these cushions, but in any case, they come in many different sizes, colors, patterns, and styles. From soft fabrics to elaborate embroidery, there is a style that will fit any home.

This low-lying cushion is a great addition to any chair, sofa, or as another seat. Very playful and lounge friendly in nature, I assure you that these cushions will help start a conversation during any gathering. 

Note, not only do these puffets add a stylish flare to your dwelling, they are also good for you. 

While you are sitting, it is a bodily impulse to have your feet elevated. When feet are elevated, circulation is improved. I recommend that the feet be raised slightly higher than the pelvic bone.

So where can you find these puffets?  Many places actually, from local department stores to small, privately-owned boutiques that have home goods. 

So sit back, relax, and use a puffet—doctor’s orders!
