Prairie Bloom Hikes at Jennings. Now is the time to explore the unique prairie ecosystem at Jennings. The hot midsummer weather will bring the spectacular blazing star & other prairie flowers to peak bloom. Join Jennings' staff for a 90-minute guided walk discussing the plants, animals, history, & geology of the prairie. The prairie is hot & has little shade. Please dress appropriately.
