More About Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company - Haine Station
Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company - Haine Station
Established in 1959, Station 21 is a 100 percent volunteer organization serving the residents of Cranberry. The station has two locations. One is situated on Haine School Road. The other is on Route 19.
In 1981, the fire company agreed to transfer its assets to the township. In return, Cranberry would provide financial support for building maintenance, equipment and apparatus.
When they're not responding to emergencies, the 50+ company volunteers spend their time training and performing administrative work.
The station on Haine School was built in 1982 and houses the E21-3, R21, IC-3 and SQ21-2 engines. The offices of the President, Chief, 2nd Captain, 2nd Lieutenant all are located there.
