A Seneca Valley school board member (you know who you are!) suggested this week's Where in the Patch.

The marker in the photo commemorates the Native American path George Washington traveled in 1753 with frontier scout Christopher Gist. At the time, the men were returning from Fort LeBoeuf on a mission for Virginia's Gov. Robert Dinwiddie.

Its on Franklin Road just north of the Intersection of Franklin and Rte. 228.
George Washington and Christopher Gist took this path from present day Pittsburgh to Fort Le Boeuf near present day Erie during the French and Indian War. TMI?

Thanks, Bob! Definitely not TMI. I knew a history buff would get this question correct. You and Carolyn are both right!
