What's Your New Year's Resolution?
In 2011, editor Jessica Sinichak wants to eat healthier ... and get to know you better.
OK, so some of you may have noticed that I put the call out there for Cranberry residents to share their New Year's resolution with the rest of Patch nation.
Since I haven't gotten any responses yet, I thought I'd share mine first. So, here it goes; my resolution in the New Year is to make healthier eating choices. Admittedly, I had the same resolution last year – and stuck with it for, oh about a month – but I'm ready to really commit to it in 2011. I'm also going to exercise more. I swear!
Not sure if it's just me, but keeping these resolutions is hard work. However, once 2011 rolls around on Saturday, there are some things that I'm absolutely resolute about, and that's keeping Patch Cranberry as an up-to-date and interactive news site for the people of this community.
Patch Cranberry – which is just one of the many Patch sites being rolled out across the country – is a little more two weeks old now. Even though it was a little early for New Year's resolutions, I promised myself before we launched that this site would be the place for well-written and concise news, sports and events. I also committed to keeping the site fun and lively.
Those are the resolutions I promise to carry into 2011 and beyond. So there you have it. Now I want to know your vows for the New Year. Please feel free to add your resolutions below. Or, shoot me an email at Jessica.sinichak@patch.com and I'll add your resolutions into the mix. As always, thanks for being a reader. Let's catch up next year too!
