Here’s a list of what’s open and what’s closed in the area for the holiday.
The U.S. Postal Service will not have regular mail delivery or collection, but Express Mail will be delivered.
Trash and recycling pickup by Waste Management will be delayed one day.
The Port Authority of Allegheny County will operate its bus, T light-rail and incline service on holiday schedules Wednesday.
The authority's customer service line will operate from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but its Downtown Service Center will be closed in observance of Independence Day.

Cranberry Community Waterpark: Make a splash on Independence Day.
Grocery Stores: The Giant Eagle stores in Cranberry and Seven Fields will be open 24 hours. The Shop ‘n Save on Freedom Road in Cranberry is open from 6 a.m. to midnight. The Shop 'n Save in Zelienople will remain open until 5 p.m. on Independence Day. The McGinnis Sisters in Adams Township will close early on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Zelienople Community Pool: The pool has free admission for Independence Day.
Convenience stores: Hey, they're called convenient for a reason.
