Visions for Vacancy: What Should Move into the Former Steamers Coffee Shop?

Tell us what you would like to see occupy this empty storefront.

Last week, we asked readers what they’d like to see move into the former Kuhn’s Market in the Cranberry Mall on Route 19, which has been empty since September.

We got such a great response (with most people indicating they’d like a Trader Joe’s in the spot) that we decided to ask the question again, this time for the vacant storefront formerly known as Steamers Coffee & Tea Company.

Located in The Streets of Cranberry shopping plaza on Route 19, Steamers— which also sold fruit smoothies and other treats—shut its doors in the township for good last January. The family-owned business has also since closed its coffee shop inside the Ross Park Mall.

So, what would you like to see occupy Steamers’ former spot?

Is there something that would benefit the Cranberry area community? How could this space better serve you and your neighbors?

Share your thoughts, ideas and concerns in the comments. Tell us what your vision is for this Cranberry Township vacancy.

Victoria's Secret gets my vote. Battling the traffic to get to Ross Park Mall for my "Pink" yoga gear is too much of a pain!

Bath and Body Works would be great there. How about what should go into the old Rite Aid next to Kuhns? It's a pretty large store.

Do this many people use this much Bath and Body Works? You can buy equivalent products at Giant Eagle. Doesnt anybody want something more interesting? What about an art studio?
