Traffic Alert: Crash on Route 228 at I-79 in Cranberry Causing Delays
Motorists are recommended to avoid the area.
A crash at Route 228 at Interstate-79 West is causing traffic delays, according to Cranberry officials.
Motorists are asked to avoid area if possible or to use alternate routes.
On the Cranberry Patch Facebook page, reader Leigh Crawford Fisher said she saw both cars involved in the collision being loaded onto a tow truck.
"Hopefully it will clear up soon," she commented.

I just came through that area. RT 228 is down to one lane in the southbound lanes. I saw lots of broken glass as I drove by. I hope all involved motorists are ok.
