Thousands of people voted in the contest, according to WPXI. The winners were determined based on a combination of the public vote and taste test scores, according to the news site.

Husband-and-wife baking team Justin and Maria Wroblewski opened Tin Man Sweets in Evans City after running the business out of their home in Renfrew for four years. Many of the recipes used at the bake show have been passed down through Justin Wroblewski’s family or are his own creation.
