Seventh graders on the Bobcat academic team at Seneca Valley Middle School recently completed their third year as pajama collectors for a good cause.

The Pajama Program is an organization that gives warm pajamas to children in need during the cold months of winter. For 2012, the Bobcats collected 42 new pairs of pajamas and 75 new books that the Pajama Program donated to those in need in the surrounding areas.

In 2010 and 2011, the Bobcat students and teachers donated about 150 pairs of new pajamas and numerous new books to this organization to be distributed locally for children in foster care, orphanages, and shelters.
