Seneca Valley Celebrates Nonprofit Foundation with Pittsburgh Symphony

The organization already has netted $24,000 in pledges and donations.

The Seneca Valley Foundation officially launched the start of the district’s nonprofit organization with a celebration and reception April 13 at the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra at Heinz Hall.

The foundation seeks donations and patrons to help develop capital projects, classroom programs and student scholarships for Seneca Valley. Memorial and charitable donations also may be made to the foundation.

The group opened its doors with $24,000 in pledges and donations. To learn more about the SV Foundation, visit www.svsd.net.
