Readers’ Choice Poll: The Winner of the Best Place to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day is ...

Primanti Brothers—by a vote.

Earlier this week, we asked readers where they go to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in the Cranberry area.

And well, we didn't get many votes. We just figured most of you are heading to Pittsburgh to take in the annual St. Paddy's Day parade, which is billed as the second-largest fete in the country.

Our suggestions for Cranberry celebration destinations included:

Houlihan’s in Cranberry

Jergel’s Rhythm Grill in Warrendale to Catch No Bad Ju Ju

Primanti Brothers in Cranberry

Harmony Inn in Harmony

Shamrock Shuffle Half Marathon and 5K run/walk in Harmony

Bottlebrush Gallery in Harmony to take in performances by Shawn MacIntyre, Ploughshare Poets, Trad and Non-Trad Celtic.

McDonald's to get a limited-edition Shamrock Shake... Mmmm

After a handful of votes, we're declaring Primanti Brothers as the winner. Sharing second place were Houlihan's and McDonald's for the Shamrock Shake.

Congratulations to Primanti Brothers! May the luck of the Irish be with you on Saturday!

Thank you also to those who voted in our poll. We’ll we back on Monday with another Readers’ Choice question—this one on the best place to go in the area for a kids meal.
