Poll: Will March Go Out Like a Lamb ... or a Lion?

So far, it’s hard to tell.

You know the old saying, right—March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb.

The beginning of March often includes cold weather and even snowstorms (like the one we had last week!). Typically, after all this is Pittsburgh weather we’re talking about here, the weather gives way to milder temperatures by month’s end.

As we approach the mid-point of March, Cranberry area residents already have experienced the wet, the wild and the warm weather.

Last Wednesday was the aforementioned snowstorm that canceled classes around the region, including at Seneca Valley. By the weekend, temperatures were approached 70—and there were actual blue skies!

The coming week also looking confusing, weather wise. After temperatures in the 50s Monday, weather forecasters are predicting snow showers by Wednesday. What gives?

We want to know what you think. Which way do you think the weather will swing by the month’s end? Will March go out the way it came in—like a lion? Or will we see the return of lamb-like temperatures?

Vote in our Patch poll or leave your thoughts in the comment section below. We’ll let you know right now that the Cranberry Patch staff is pulling for “lamb” all the way.
