Pet Portrait Event Benefits Humane Society
Check out this local event and help the pups!
Capture your loyal canine companion with a modern and expressive pet portrait, all while helping the animals at the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society.
The first annual Food for Fido event will be hosted by Nicole Begley Photography in order to collect food donations and raise revenue for one of the busiest shelters in the area.
“I believe that the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society, along with all of the other shelters and rescue organizations, is an incredible resource for the Greater Pittsburgh region,” Begley said. “I am always looking for new ways to give back to charitable organizations, and I’m very excited about this new event.”
Pet owners will receive a 10-minute photography session along with a 5x7 digital image of their choice. Participants are requested to bring a large bag of food, which will be donated to the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society, as will a portion of the $35 session fee.
Advanced reservations are required.
The sessions will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 9 in West Park on Pittsburgh’s North Side. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved to Saturday, June 16. Visit www.food-for-fido.com for additional details.
