I would definitely like to see a Trader Joes because it would be nice to have something a little more upgraded or healthy. Having said that, it would be nice to have more privately owned restaurants where there is usually better food and service. If we can not have better restaurants, then why not have something that is family friendly, such as a Cracker Barrel. Also, there is no food options for a seafood family restuarant, so I'm suggesting a Red Lobster.

While business may be blooming as indicated by the record year of development in 2011, its negative effect resulted in CT increasing our taxes. According to the CT township manager when he meets with CT residents now, the favorite topic is what new businesses are next for CT. If the CT BOS and staff management (and Seneca Valley School District) does not learn how to live within CT's financial means, the next time the CT manager meets with CT residents the most popular topic will be "why have our taxes increased with all the influx of new businesses" and "why have are citizens and businesses not flocking to CT like they did in the past two decades?" Maybe just maybe the "low Butler County taxes" are not as low as they have been in the past thus giving an edge to CT when this may no longer be the case going forward. Intuitively, it appears to me that the more affluent a municipal government becomes the less responsive they are to responsibly managing citizens' taxes. And do not buy into the rhetoric that the tax increase was due to a "state shortfall" as the primary reason for raising taxes as that issue is minor compared to CT's tax and spend (and rubberstamp the budget) mentality.

How about places to eat that are more healthy choices and less of the gross, fast food places!

I'd love to have a Sephora up here. It would save me the traffic headache of driving to Ross Park Mall. I'd also like more non-chain restaurants. I think it could happen. Just in this last year, some great locally-owned eateries have moved into Cranberry, including Echo, BRGR, Graham Central and Pork-n 'Nat.

I would like to see an IHOP in Cranberry. It's just a matter of time.

Carsense I'm not totally sold on yet. My experience so far with them hasn't been good so far.

Definitely a Bozcovs, Penneys, and Sears.

Route 228 expansion -- It's obviously not a business but might as well be one since it currently chokes Seven Fields and Mars and stands in the way of new development.

New movie theater -- The area desperately needs one (especially one that screens independent films and features an IMAX screen). Unfortunately a new cinema was scrapped from the Village at Cranberry Woods expansion plan.

Cracker Barrel -- Perfect location would be in front of the Hilton Garden Inn. They were originally slated to build where the new Firestone is located.

Home Goods. Robinson Township? Why not here?

Nordstrom or Macy's. There's no reason Cranberry/Mars can't have a lifestyle development like the Waterfront or Settler's Ridge. Ross Park Mall is inconvenient.

Cranberry/Mars is one step away from being a self-contained suburb. Simon Properties intended to address the retail shortfall until Penn Dot got in the way and the economy went south. With the crossroads of 76 and 79 and our solid demographics, there's no reason why the area can't support new retail developments.

Wegmans. No other grocery retailer comes even close.

Healthy restaurants, like vegan, with drive-through. More public swimming pools (twp too big for one), J.C. Penney/Boscovs/Macey's, a DRIVE IN (again), Dave & Buster's, a ROLLER-SKATING RINK, a BOWLING ALLEY, more WALKING/BIKING paths at Graham Park, a winter actvity area for skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, outdoor hockey, maybe snowmobiling (rentals)...could also be at Graham Park, a large TAXI service and a very large mini mart/gas station on Rochester Road. This township doesn't need more housing plans but more things to DO besides eating/drinking. Kids need something to DO besides sit in front of a TV or computer or do drugs and get into trouble. Families need things to DO together. Be a real community and DO something to make this happen. Lisa

Oh and one other thing...better traffic logistics. Businesses/lights need to be set up like the ones on 228 where Olive Garden, Smokey Bones, etc. is...one back street to enter the restaurants/businesses with ONE way out to the main road/light. Perfect. Too many lights on Freedom Road..these need to be re-configured and some eliminated. EX: JoAnn Fabrics light at Cranberry Mall; eliminate this one, either close that entrance or make it an IN only and make everyone use the upper mall light or the one by Primanti Bros. with a left arrow installed. The Franklin Road light was sorely needed but a four-way stop sign would have been cheaper and done the job...and could have been put in a long time ago. Just a few examples.

I'd love to see Bath & Body - sick of going to Butler or Ross Park Mall. I really thought one would open at the Streets of Cranberry. I would also love to see Cracker Barrel, Red Lobster or Joe's Crab Shack and some Healthy food restaurants. Since this is like a wish list, a new movie theater would be great. Activities for kids are needed - roller skating rink, bowling, etc.

Taco Bell or "Movie Tavern", check it out, there is one over in Collegeville PA.

How about a shoe store......so we wouldn't have to go to Ross Park Mall.

Hobby Lobby - Michael's and JoAnn's just aren't cutting it anymore for crafters. Bath & Body Works. DSW Shoes. Cracker Barrel would be great! A mall with some big anchor retail stores - Macy's, Boscov's, Penney's etc. And whatever happened to the idea of having a Cabela's here? Even a Gander Mountain or Bass Pro Shop "destination" type hunting/fishing/outdoors store.
