- October 5, 2012
If last Wednesday’s presidential debate left you with more questions than answers, here’s your chance for the presidential candidates to address the issues that most matter to you.
The next presidential debate will be a town hall meeting format at Hofstra University in Long Island, where voters will ask President Barack Obama and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney about domestic and foreign policy.
Cranberry Patch is asking you, our readers, to participate by submitting questions for the candidates.
All you have to do is post your question in the comments section below, and we’ll send it to the Commission on Presidential Debates. The commission is partnering with Patch's parent company Aol, along with Google and Yahoo, to take questions from web users across the country.
Don’t wait until Nov. 6 to have a say in this year’s election. Share your thoughts in the comments!

Obama, and many on the left, claim we should "go back to tax rates under Bill Clinton". They often say this is the solution to our budget deficit since it would raise more revenue.
I think they conveniently forget the spending side of the equation.
Bill Clinton's last year in office, federal spending was $1.6 trillion. In 2011 it is $3.6 trillion, a 225% increase.
In 1998, federal spending was 19% of GDP. In 2011 it is 24% of GDP.
My question-if you want to go back to Clinton era tax rates, why not go back to Clinton era spending rates?
I think you could get a lot of bipartisan support to go back to the "good old days of Bill Clinton"

Ask Romney what exactly is a "retroactive retirement" from a the slime sack outfit Bain Financial which demolished corporations, destroyed jobs and outsourced a good bit abroad.

I would ask Mitt Romney:
"Mr. Romney, why did you lie in the first debate about 3-4 times more often than President Obama. Fact checkers and leading media outlets like the Associated Press have shown you lied at least 27 times in the 38 minutes you spoke. You told blatant inaccuracies about your healthcare plan, about unemployment figures and other topics. With all of your lying, how can American voters expect you to tell the truth with your promises to them -- should you win the election? "

I would ask the Lying Baraq Obama WHY he has not submitted an acceptable BUDGET to Congress in the LAST FOUR YEARS. His Last budget proposal was REJECTED by both DEMOCRATS and Republicans

Why has Baraq Obama deliberatley given citizenship, along with a COLLEGE EDUCATION and jobs to some 800000 illegals. He is AWARE that most of America needs jobs. He has chosen to go around Congress and mandate this giveaway by going around Congress. It appears as though he does not care what American Taxpyeyrs have to say.

In the debate last week, President Obama said that he planned on having an opportunity for people who can not get large group insurance to buy into a group plan (i.e. self-employed). Romney implied he had planned something similar to this, but I would like to know exactly what his plans would be for those of us who are self-employed and have pre-existing conditions (therefore, we need the same insurance you would get from working in a large group employer).
