Typically the Pittsburgh area Patch editors work as a team—except when it comes to football.

On Friday, the Seneca Valley Raiders take on the North Hills Indians in a WPIAL Northern Eight Conference matchup at Martorelli Stadium. Both teams are coming into the game with 5-1 overall records.

Who will win?

Cranberry Patch Editor Jessica Sinichak is certain the Raiders will dominate the Indians. After all, the team shut out Shaler last week by a score of 49-0.

North Hills Patch Editor Richard Cook is just as sure his Indians will stomp all over the Raiders. The team didn’t get to be 5-1 by accident.  

In fact, the editors are so confident in their teams, they’ve made a bet on it.

If Seneca Valley loses, Jessica will post a photo of herself on the Patch site wearing read and white (the colors of North Hills) while admitting defeat.

In the Indians lose, Rich will outfit himself in the Raiders’ colors of black and Columbia blue and apologize for ever thinking North Hills could beat Jessica’s Seneca Valley players.
