PennDOT District 11 is advising motorists that short-term lane closures will occur on I-79 in the area of the bridges over Red Mud Hollow Road in Franklin Park Borough on Monday and Tuesday, weather permitting. 

Lane closures will occur as needed in both directions in the bridge area between Exits 68 and 72 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

PennDOT crews will perform the work.

PennDOT advises motorists to use caution, slow down, and expect changing traffic patterns when traveling through this area.

Motorists are also reminded they can log on to 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions on major roadways before traveling.
